Dear Ones,
I want you all to know that it was very good news today! My PET scan showed no new metastases, the ones that had disappeared were still gone and the remaining tumors were all decreased in activity. My tumor marker is now down to 36. The new chemotherapy is clearly working. I will not need to go to Mayo next week. I'll just continue with this regimen that has at last shown progress. I know that this is likely to be a chronic illness and that things could later change, but for now I am filled with relief and gratitude.
Thanks to each of you for your prayers, love, and support!
Love,
Jud
We are so happy!
With love,
Suz
I am so sorry that you are sick. Please take good care of yourself. Stress can cause all sorts of illnesses when the defenses are down. I am so happy for Jud's news. I will not cease in my prayers..you are both there every day!!

ReplyDeleteSuz,
ReplyDeleteI'm SO glad that Jud is doing better! I think maybe your being able to "let YOUR guard down" a little contributed to you getting sick....It's like you're SO wound up for SO long and when things settle down,,,,your reserve/immunities, say "ahhh" and you get ill!
I hope you're resting and getting some down time! You've been "carrying" a lot and your body is telling you to slow down,,,,,heal!
Love to you both,,,You're the BESTEST!
Hugs love and a "healthful" bus!

ReplyDeleteDear Jud and Suz...as I look at the photos on my bulletin board of you, Jud with your walking stick held over your head in victory...and the two of you dressed to the 'nines' prior to your diagnosis.........I am smiling and and repeating my daily Mantra, "yes, you are victorious over this battle, Jud".....this news today is beyond wonderful.......
